April 2005 - November 2007 Cashier
This begun my journey at Home Depot. As a cashier I learned the basics of customer service. I also learn product knowledge in different departments. During my time there, I learned how to cut blinds, mix colored paint, and cut keys.
November 2007 - June 2007 Service Desk
Here I learned that customers have unique issues. I learned that everyday is a new experience. I learned that not every customer is going to leave happy, but I have to try my best to make them as satisfied as I can.
June 2007 - August 2007 Head Cashier
My short time as a Head Cashier, I managed the cashiers. I made sure they were at the registers that needed coverage, and had coverage for their breaks. I also made sure that their needs were covered. My time as a Head Cashier was cut short due to knee surgory. I was unable to complete my duties and had to step down. I kept my Head Cashier Keys and stay as a back up Head Cashier.
August 2007 - Present Service Desk
I work along side the department supervisor to make sure the desk runs smoothly. I still work directly with customers that have some kind of issue. I like the issues that I face every day. I like to know that everyday can bring something new.
